The Olive Sauce is a typical Sicilian recipe with a naturally sweet and full-bodied flavor. Sautéed with Frantoi Cutrera extra virgin olive oil allows the sweetness of the onion to balance the natural acidity of the tomato and thus enhance the taste of the olives. The sauce has an intense red color, with aromatic notes of tomato and olive sauce. The velvety consistency is alternated with olive scraps. The taste is sweet, slightly spicy and slightly bitter (the latter of the olives), all perfectly balanced.
